Partner
with Pediatric Health Line
In a recent sample
survey of pediatricians we found that doctors wanted to
find more balance between their passions; work and home.
These same doctors wanted to be available for their
patients’ afterhours, to calm concerns, offer basic advice,
and supply prescriptions. PHL can be your answer to
increased freedom and balance after regular office hours.
The mission of Pediatric Health Line is to provide
impeccable care to your patients. We offer a myriad of
customizable services and options for your practice.

Pediatric
Health Line as a Complement to Physician Care
Physicians choose PHL because of the quality, care, and
compassion of our knowledgeable Registered Nurses (RN’s).
Our nurses each have a minimum of 5+ years proven service
in pediatrics, are CPR certified, and use Dr. Barton
Schmitt protocols to appropriately and reliably respond to
patient calls. PHL RN’s work with Physicians to provide
excellent care and guidance to patients afterhours.
Patient care is important. Our level of commitment to
patient and physician satisfaction is monitored through our
Quality Assurance and Improvement (QA&I) Program. These
standards are based on the American Academy of Ambulatory
Care Nurses (AAACN) Telehealth Standards. We also follow
American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines for a call
center. To provide exceptional care and the highest quality
of service, PHL conducts monthly QA&I evaluations which
include:
- Response time
- Caller Access
- Physician satisfaction
- Clinical Guidance and use appropriateness
- Disposition appropriateness
- Clinical Outcomes
- Monthly patient satisfaction surveys
